Hampton Roads Transit — Southside Headquarters

CEI won a national competitive process to design and construct 100,000 SF of administrative headquarters offices, a bus maintenance facility, and an employee (385 spaces) and bus (250 buses) parking garage for Hampton Roads Transit Authority. The original scope was modified mid-construction to incorporate a 40,000 SF headquarters building. The development team managed design, permitting, and construction complications to deliver the enlarged project under budget and within the original schedule. LEED Gold certified.
